Steven Reesor is an accomplished Security Professional with many years of experience in policing, corporate security, security consulting, private investigations and security training. In 2005 Steven retired from the Toronto Police Service after completing 30 years of distinguished service. During his policing career he worked in numerous policing areas including Uniform Patrol, SWAT, Internal Audit and Homicide. He spent the last nine years of his policing career as a Deputy Chief of Police and while holding that rank was in charge of over 4,000 officers in Policing Operations.
Steven holds both a BA from York University and a MBA from the University of Toronto. In 2007 he obtained his CPP (Certified Protection Professional) designation in security management from the American Society of Industrial Security. In 2009 he was accredited as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Steven holds a “Top Secret” (Level III) Government of Canada Security Clearance. He is a member of a number of associations including the Ontario Association of Career Colleges, American Society of Industrial Security, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, International Security Managers Association, Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police, International Association of Chiefs of Police and the Council of Private Investigators of Ontario.
Beverley has many years of experience working in the not for profit and charity sectors. Beverley has a strong background in management, finance and human resources.
Beverley has a Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Career Counselling from Durham College.
Mike is a certified Instructor at the Centre for Security Training & Management Inc. He teaches the Security Guard Course, Defensive Tactics, Handcuffing and First Aid. Mike is a licensed Security Guard with many years of experience working in uniform positions and providing security at nightclubs and special events.
Mike is an accomplished martial arts expert who has reached the distinguished position of Taekwon-do Grand Master.
In 2007 Mike was inducted into the World-wide Taekwon-do Hall of Fame in recognition for his contributions to Taekown-do for supporting its development in the Middle East. Mike regularly travels to South Korea and Japan for martial arts events and ceremonies. Mike has many years of experience teaching martial arts.
Mike has provided defensive tactic instruction to many different organizations including the Toronto Police Service, Edmonton Police Service, and Belgian Special Forces.
Mike speaks five languages.
Doug is a certified Instructor at the Centre for Security Training & Management Inc.
Doug teaches both the Private Investigator and Security Guard courses. Doug is dual licensed as a Private Investigator and Security Guard.
In 2012 Doug retired from the Toronto Police Service after completing 30 years of distinguished service. During his policing career Doug performed in many uniform and detective functions spending his last 5 years as a Detective in the Homicide Squad.
Since retiring from policing Doug has had teaching assignments in the Police Foundations Program at both Everest and Trillium Private Career Colleges.
Doug holds a Certificate in Adult Learning from Durham College.
Fred is a Security Guard Instructor at the Centre for Security Training & Management Inc.
Fred was a Police Officer with the Toronto Police Service for 34 years. During his policing career Fred performed duties in Uniform Divisions, Community Planning and Intelligence Services.
During his policing career Fred spent time as the Auxiliary Police, Chief Training Officer training new recruits to the Toronto Police Service Auxiliary Policing Program.
