It is mandatory in Ontario that a Private Investigator training course conforming to the Ministry curriculum, be taken prior to being eligible to write the Ministry Private Investigator Licencing Test and apply for a Private Investigator Licence.
All necessary Provincial and Federal Codes, Acts and Statutes are examined as they relate to the industry. The various duties and responsibilities of the investigator are discussed. Preparation of assignments, report writing, equipment and investigative techniques are studied. Students are prepared to utilize their investigative skills as required by the legal, commercial and private sectors. The course instructors are former Toronto Police Detectives and are also Licenced Private Investigators with many years of experience in both policing and private investigations.
Includes A Practical Surveillance Exercise AND HANDS-ON PRACTICAL STATEMENT TAKING INSTRUCTION.
Those who take this course are guaranteed to pass the Ministry Licencing Test or they may retake the course for free.
