Christopher Menary is the President of the Centre for Security Training & Management Inc. that is a private professional training centre designed specific for security personnel located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He co-founded and established the Centre in 1997. Mr. Menary has years of professional experience that includes law enforcement, education & training, risk assessments, retail loss prevention, event security, corporate security, mobile response, condominium security, data centre security, bodyguard/close protection, bank security, crime prevention, healthcare security, and airport security. In 2003, Mr. Menary received the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) certification from the Government of Canada to train the Federal Security Officer training program.

Christopher currently sits on the CGSB Security Guard and Supervisor Training Standards Committee for Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWSGC) as well as a sub-committee tasked with developing standards for Use of Force principles, Use of Restraints (handcuffing) and Impact Weapons (Batons). Christopher also sits on a sub-committee to develop a standardized examination for the CGSB Security Guards and Supervisors.

Mr. Menary is an internationally known instructor/trainer, and speaker and is often asked to speak at conferences and corporate seminars. Christopher has consulted with or appeared in the media on many occasions to provide an expert opinion on security related issues. He has been featured on Global National & Global News as their security consultant.

Christopher holds the office of a Commissioner of Oath of Ontario and is a current American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) member and sits on the ASIS Toronto Chapter committee as the speaker liaison. Christopher is a registered member of the International Associations of Personal Protection Agents (IAPPA). In June 2009, Christopher became the National Director representing Canada for the IAPPA close protection and bodyguards. Mr. Menary is active member with the International Counter-Terrorism Officers Association – New York City. In August 2009, Christopher authored the book “Canadian Professionals Security Guide Book” which is focus on the Canadian methods of the security practices in the industry.
